Midway through the OC Fair and there’s so much fun on the midway and beyond!
COSTA MESA (Aug. 2, 2025) – OC Fair runs through Aug. 17, and time is running out to “Find Your Happy!” From exciting new experiences to the classics, the Fair brings it every year, at every turn. Whether it’s a first visit or the 50th, enjoy all the best the 135th OC Fair has to offer before it’s gone.
Fair food
$5 Taste of Fair is still going strong with a curated assortment of sample-sized Fair delights, including cream puffs, churros, tater tots, nachos, slushies and more for only $5 per serving from 11 a.m. till 4 p.m., every day!
Bite into fun and funky new foods, including Chicken Charlie’s meatball and mozzarella on a stick, Spud Ranch’s pizza spud, Enzo’s pizza pork palooza with chicharron, Mom’s Bakeshoppe’s Dubai brookie, Pineapple Whip’s blue raspberry pineapple Dole Whip, Bacon Nation’s bacon-wrapped burrito and bacon cotton candy, Biggy’s Mini Me turkey leg and of course 10 Pound Buns’ baked Italian grinder and turkey and bacon sub.
The Orange County Wine Society presents the Wine Courtyard, offering a variety of new wines and featured educational programs to try throughout the run of the Fair. Sip on a robust rosé, explore a variety of vineyards and learn how to pair wine with cheese, BBQ and your favorite Fair foods.
Rides and games
Load up the FunPass app to access new rides – Aviator, Royal Wheel and Sound Storm, as well as Kidland’s Frog Hop – and classics like Le Grande Wheel, Raptor Coaster, Euroslide and more.
Unlimited carnival ride wristbands are available for purchase onsite for $54 to enjoy unlimited rides and two free games. Redeem wristbands by 5 p.m. and ride from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Live music
Groove to the sounds of the Toyota Summer Concert Series on the Yaamava’ Stage at Pacific Amphitheatre with new acts, including Ludacris, T-Pain, Swift Nation and Bad Guy Billie and Grupo Marca Registrada, as well as icons like Jeff Dunham, Melissa Etheridge, Tribal Seeds and Blues Traveler. Jam out to new tribute bands on The Hangar stage: B-52 tribute band, Hot Lava; Blink-180TRUE, a tribute to Blink-182; and Run The World & Rihanna Replay, tributes to Beyonce and Rihanna. Dance all night at Fair After Dark, held three nights a week in Plaza Pacifica, with swing dancing on Fridays, DJ West Coast Dave playing hits inspired by Pacific Amphitheatre shows on Saturdays and Latin dancing on Sundays.

New at the Fair, Megan the Bubbleologist will be blowing audiences away with her interactive bubble show. Catch her near Green Gate starting Aug. 6, with performances at 11:30 a.m., 12:30, 2:30 and 3:30 p.m., free with Fair admission.
In Action Sports Arena, cheer on souped-up lawn mower and turbo-charged tricycle races at the all-new Mowterized Mayhem. Tickets are available at ocfair.com/actionsportsarena.

Wind through the iconic visuals of cult classics and blockbuster movies in featured exhibit, REWIND: A VHS Revival, showcasing Art of Music’s curated collection of large-scale hand-painted movie poster art that defined a generation of pop culture.
Peek at beautiful and mouthwatering culinary entries, explore a touch tank, dive into virtual reality and discover iconic beachside landmarks at Orange County Sand and Sea in the OC Promenade.
Awe at the creativity within our community through works featured in our galleries, including fine arts, woodworking, jewelry, photography, table settings and fiber arts.
Animals and agriculture
Pick a pig and cheer them on at All-Alaskan Racing Pigs, taking place every day at Park Plaza.
Watch miniature donkeys navigate obstacles, a barnyard fashion parade or take in other animal exhibits in the Livestock Show Ring.
View live milking demonstrations in the Millennium Barn, held daily at 2:15 and 4:15 p.m., and wander around the gardens or visit the piglets, chickens, rabbits and other farm animals at Centennial Farm.
Centennial Farm also houses horticulture competitions, featuring a number of exciting categories including cut flowers, pressed botanicals and the largest and most unusually shaped fruit or vegetable — a fan favorite.

OC Fair has partnered with Community Action Partnership of Orange County for OC Fair Cares. Every Thursday, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., donate canned food at the Blue or Green Gates for a chance to win prizes from Raising Cane’s, AAA and more.
Engage in vibrant cultural activities during Chicano Heritage Month, through Aug. 17. Create paper flowers and zoot suit paper dolls in Cane’s Crafting Corner, enjoy a zoot suit fashion show and watch live artist demonstrations by ceramicist Jose Flores-Nava.
Celebrate Pride with Out at the Fair on Saturday, Aug. 9 from noon to 6 p.m. at the Plaza Pacifica Stage.
Lace up those sneakers and run, walk or skip through the OC Fairgrounds on Sunday, Aug. 10, at the OC Fair Fun Run 5K and 1.1 Mile Detour Dash starting at 8 a.m.
