Youth Project

Teachers, parents and youth organization leaders: Enter your students', childrens' and members' projects in Youth Expo Project Competitions.

Youth Expo will feature more than 4,000 youth projects from Orange County students and highlights both classroom and individual projects.

Competitions & Contest

Entry Forms must be submitted by midnight Friday, March 22, 2013.

Display & ID Tags are required for each project submitted. Please complete tags prior to project drop-off.

Lil' Sprout Jr. Farm & Garden Contest

Here is an opportunity to show off your green thumb. Contest categories include divisions for both fruits and vegetables, terrariums and more.

Youth Chess Tournament
Saturday, April 13, Noon - 4 pm

Join us for an exciting afternoon with Academic Chess!
Chess tournament for all ages and levels, parents welcome to participate.
$10 per person, each additional family memeber $5.

Science, Technology, Engineering, Math & Digital Media Arts

Your STEM and The Arts projects make the connection to your future career.

Projects will be displayed alongside:
  • Industry interactive exhibits
  • College demonstrations
  • Non-profit organizations (using your talents while supporting a cause)
Throughout the weekend there will be:
  • Industry speakers
  • Performance Engineering Design reviews
  • Vex Robotics and First Lego League competitions
  • Student showcases of work in Digital Media Arts competition and the Dream Career Photo project
  • Entrepreneurship of Entertainment program
