2012 OC FAIR THEME CONTEST
What does “Home Sweet Home” mean to you? That is the theme for the 2012 OC Fair and we want you to design the artwork
For the first time, the OC Fair is offering members of the community the opportunity to be a part of the process for designing the 2012 OC Fair theme art.
This is how it works:
- Create a sketch, drawing, photo, etc. for the 2012 OC Fair Theme Contest. All mediums are welcome.
- Download and fill out the Theme Contest entry form at ocfair.com/themecontest (or pick up a copy at the OC Fair & Event Center administration offices at 88 Fair Drive, Costa Mesa, CA 92626.
- Submit your design via mail or deliver to: Marketing Dept., OC Fair & Event Center, 88 Fair Dr., Costa Mesa, CA 92626.
- Designs must be submitted on a CD as a JPEG or PDF file. Files should be no larger than 2MB.
- Submissions will be accepted between July 15, 2011 and September 5, 2011.
- Designs must include the OC Fair logo.
- Chosen winners will need to sign a Copyright Assignment.
- Read the Official Rules & Regulations and Q&A. (include as PDF) These documents can also be picked up at the OC Fair & Event Center Administration Offices.
The contest is open to anyone over 13 years old wanting to share their artistic interpretation of the 2012 OC Fair theme “Home Sweet Home.”
Children under the age of 18 must have the consent of a parent or guardian. Submitted artwork becomes the property of the OC Fair & Event Center.
While the winning design may be used as part of the 2012 OC Fair advertising and marketing campaign, there is no guarantee the artwork will be the featured design. Submitted artwork becomes the property of the OC Fair & Event Center and will not be returned.
Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place.- First Place – VIP Lifetime Pass to the OC Fair, plus two orchestra seats at the Pacific Amphitheatre for all 23 concerts of the 2012 OC Fair.
- Second Place – Two-year Super Pass to the OC Fair.
- Third Place – 2012 OC Fair Super Pass.
