Jr. Farmer Tours Information - 2011/2012

• Age Group: Available to kindergarten through 3rd grade school groups.

• Tour Season: October 3, 2011 – June 1, 2012

• Tour Times: 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.

-Tour length: 1.5 hours
-Please remember to allow extra travel time for the 9 a.m. tours as traffic may cause delays and tour times cannot be extended.

• Group Size: Centennial Farm can accommodate up to 7 groups per tour time.  We allow a maximum of 23 children per group. Please reserve enough groups so no group exceeds 23 children.

• Admission & Parking: There is no charge for parking or admission during Jr. Farmer Tours, but donations are gratefully accepted!

• Chaperones & Siblings: Chaperones are limited to one (1) chaperone for every 10 children per group.  One head teacher for each class is not counted in the chaperone count. Please, no additional siblings or children who are not part of the class.

• Centennial Farm is not open to the public while tours are in session.  Please go to www.ocfair.com/farm for the current Centennial Farm public hours.

• Spring dates are the first to fill up, so please submit your online applications as early as possible if you want to book a spring tour. 

• Picnic tables are available for lunch.

• Reservations can only be made online. Please do not call to schedule a field trip.

Thank you for participating in Centennial Farm Jr. Farmer Tour program.  Your feedback is very important to us. Please take a moment to complete a brief survey telling us about your recent experience. For your participation, you will be entered in our monthly drawing* for a chance to win your choice of the following prizes: $25 gift card to Lakeshore Learning OR priority registration for your school for the 2012-2013 school year.  Monthly winners will be notified via e-mail two weeks after each month's end. Winners will also be posted on the Centennial Farm page under “Announcements.”

*The brief post tour survey must be completed after your tour and in the same month your school or group took a Centennial Farm Jr. Farmer Tour to be eligible for the drawing. For groups that visited the last week of the month, in order to allow time for you to complete the survey, please submit your post tour survey within the first 7 days of the following month so you can be eligible for the following month’s drawing.
