Commercial Exhibitors and Food Concessionaires Application Process

THE APPLICATION DEADLINE HAS PASSED.
The application period was Sept. 15, 2007, through January 15, 2008.
Applications bearing a postmark later than January 15, 2008, will not be accepted, no exceptions.

Participants from the previous Fair are evaluated and may be offered an invitation to return next year. This process results in limited space for new applicants. We appreciate the patience of new applicants as we journey through the many steps to create the best fair and entertainment in the industry.

In the meantime, we will accept applications from new potentials in anticipation of available space. Please note the following points.

  • It is important that your fully completed packet arrive as one. Please do not send items in several mailings, they may not find the original application, as we receive hundreds.
  • All applications must be complete. Only fully completed applications will be reviewed. Incomplete applications are not returned for completion.
  • The Fair is not responsible for misdirected or late mail.
  • Once an application is submitted, you will not hear from us until mid-May. That correspondence is sent in writing, by first-class mail.
  • Please do not call for status on your application. Applications are reviewed on their own merit, not a first come-first serve basis. Calling slows the process and does not give the applicant a better chance at receiving space.

Applications are not selected on a first come, first serve basis. Selection criteria is based on, but not limited to:

  • Space availability
  • Product or Service
  • Representation of products / duplications /similar items already at the fair
  • Booth presentation – professional in every aspect of business
  • References

COMMERCIAL EXHIBITORS
Space size and rates vary according to location. Basic rates range from $2,250 (for an inline 10' x 10' outside space) to $2,850 (for a corner 10' x 8' inside space).

CONCESSIONAIRES
Space fees for concession trailers are based on $100 per frontage foot (a guaranteed space fee) against 22% of gross sales (less sales tax), whichever is greater. (An example: a unit 10' wide would be charged $1,000 as a guaranteed fee.) All concessions are audited daily.

With your completed application, please include pictures or brochures of your products and also of the booth as it looks when fully operational.

Space availability is determined by the number of responses from Exhibitors and Concessionaires invited to return from last year's Fair. Until that process is completed, we have no indication as to which space may be available, the type of product that may work in the vacancy or if the space will be filled with a like product.

The Fair reserves the right to select the type of product contracted. Once you have submitted an application, you will not hear from us until May 2008. You will be notified by mail as to whether or not your application has been accepted. Please do not contact our office requesting the status of your application.
