Spanish-language programming is
highlighted at the 2005 OC Fair
including performances by legendary
performer Julio Iglesias in the Pacific
Amphitheatre and the sidesplitting comedy
of Julio Sabala in the Citizens Business
Bank Arena.
The Pacific Amphitheatre hosts
Grammy-award winner Julio Iglesias on
Wednesday, July 20, at 8 p.m. On Friday,
July 22, modern rock comes center stage
with Maldita Vecindad, Aterciopelados and
Inspector at 7 p.m. Tickets for the July 22
show are only $19.99 and include free
Fair admission. Prices for July 20 vary.
Comedy, showmanship, music and
telenovellas are included in the cost of
Fair admission at the Citizens Business
Bank Arena. On Saturday, July 16, LATV
tapes an episode of their popular show “Mex 2 the Max” in front of the Arena
audience at 8 p.m. The hottest stars of the
hottest telenovellas will be on hand for
Tele Estrellas on Sunday, July 17, at 8 p.m.
Comedian Julio Sabala will have you
laughing until it hurts with two shows on
both Saturday and Sunday, July 23 and 24,
at 6 and 8:30 p.m. And the annual Fiesta
Del Charro closes the Fair on Sunday,
July 31, at 4 and 8 p.m.
