Three special guests will be turning
up the heat at the 2005 OC Fair
Thursday nights as part of this
year’s Culinary Arts Series on the new
Plaza Arts Stage.
For the third consecutive year, culinary
guru Alton Brown will offer his outrageous
approach to cooking on July 14 to start
off this year’s celebrity chefs’ appearances.
Alton is best known for his hit TV show
“Good Eats” and award-winning book
“I’m Just Here for the Food.”
On July 21, Curtis Aikens gives a
repeat performance with his nutritious yet
delicious cooking. Curtis is known for his
knowledge and passion for produce, and
has shared his culinary expertise on various
national television programs, as well as in
a number of books and articles.
Closing out this year’s program, the
Food Network’s newest kid on the block
Dave Lieberman will demonstrate his
quick, tasty and easy recipes on July 28.
Dave’s first book, “Young and Hungry”,
offers his fellow college-aged and
on-a-budget audience culinary options
beyond instant, takeout and frozen.
The Culinary Arts Series is scheduled
to begin at 5:30 p.m. Thursdays during
the OC Fair.
