In
Spanish, Domingos Alegres translates as
“happy Sundays”—and
that’s exactly what the 112th annual
Orange County Fair has on its agenda this
summer.
The most visible and audible segment
of this new Fair feature will be the four
Sunday programs of Latino-flavored music
in the Citizens Business Bank Arena. Entrance
to this event is free with Fair admission;
seats are not reserved.
As Doug Lofstrom, the director of operations
for Orange County Fair & Exposition
Center, explained: “Domingos Alegres
is not just about the programs in the
Arena. It’s about our guests enjoying
all the attractions that the Orange County
Fair offers.”
The July 11, 18 and 25 programs will
begin at 6 p.m. The Aug. 1 program, on
the Fair's closing day, will be in two
sessions, beginning at 2 and 7 p.m.
Performing July 11 are Twiz y Los Megas,
Yari More, La Raza Obrera, and Rogelio
Martinez. Scheduled for July 18 are Sonora
Show, Aline Hernandez, Los Horoscopos
de Durango. On July 25 guests can enjoy
Javier Alonso, Gerardo, Banda Los Lagos,
and Jennifer Pena. The musical performers
during Fiesta Del Charro on Aug. 1 are
Humberto Herrera and Mariachi Los Camperos.
All acts are subject to change without
notice.
