Spring Events Roar Into OCFEC and Leave Their Mark

Four events bring you to the edge of your seat at the Orange County Fair & Exposition Center this Spring. Whether you get your kicks with hot rod trucks, extreme motorsports and watercraft, or body art, OCFEC is the place to be this season.

The 6th annual West Coast All Truck Nationals returns to OCFEC on Sunday, April 10, featuring trucks of all makes and sizes from minis to semis. This annual show features the West's best Chevys, GMCs, Fords, Dodges, Jeeps, import trucks, Internationals, Hummer H2s and others.

For shoppers, Fleet Pride, the nation's largest big rig store, will be selling and showing their latest products. Also, Pick Your Part manufacturer's row will again feature over 50 of the West's largest manufacturers showcasing their newest products.

The show is open from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for seniors 65 years or older, and children 12 and under. For more information check out www.horsepowerpromotions.com or call (805) 686-2007.

On May 13-15, Extreme Motorsports Expo will present a high-octane mix of vehicles and accessories for all off-road and speed fanatics. Thrills include FMX jumpers, Rhino demos, monster trucks, Monster Kool Bus rides for the kids, and award-winning stuntman Monte Perlin performing in a huge ball of steel.

Among the vehicles to be displayed will be sand rails, rock crawlers, ATCs, desert trucks, dune buggies, four-wheel drive trucks, lifted trucks, ATVs, dirt bikes and high-speed watercraft.

Expo hours are Friday, 5 p.m.-10 p.m., Saturday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m., and Sunday, 10 a.m.-5p.m. Admission is $10, children under 10 get in for free. For more information visit www.extrememotorsportsexpo.com or call (714) 241-9055.

New this year, the Body Art Fair is May 21-22, open noon -7 p.m. each day. The celebration features two days of live tattooing and piercing demonstrations, contests, shopping, information, and other activities. Featured artists and companies will offer products and services including permanent and temporary tattooing, body piercing, cosmetics, jewelry, hairstyling, accessories, apparel, books and more.
